The Open House went well as many were very generous with their giving towards our ministry needs. All but two works were auctioned off and we collected about $1300 in total by the end of it all. It was a good experience and fun for us to do, I think we'll do it again.We had a great time in Seattle getting together with close friends. It's always fun to see John get together with his CAJ (Christian Academy in Japan) buddies. (Picture taken at Priscilla's house.) We look forward to our next visit there.
Summer is almost over and the Fall season is upon us. Kayla had her first swimming lesson yesterday and she's excited about the gymnastic classes she's enrolled in starting next week. Should be interesting for all of us!
We've felt lead to start attending the Vancouver Japanese Gospel Church until it's time to leave for the Philippines. We're open to however the Lord wants to use us there.
