Peaches

I've always wanted to pick and eat fruit right off of the tree and I thought we would be able to do that when we visited the Okanagan. It's peach season right now and I was looking forward to picking them but unfortunately we couldn't find any place where they let people do that. Oh well, the next best thing was buying a box of fresh peaches for $7.99 at a fruit stand in Summerland. The lady at the stand said I had to wait another 3 or 4 days for the peaches to ripen. I can't wait until I can slice 'em up and pop 'em in my mouth! Mmmmm. . . .
