John and I watched the movie Born Into Brothels last week and I haven't been able to get this movie out of my mind. It's an Academy Award winning documentary about a photographer who developed a very special relationship with these children who live in the Red Light District in Calcutta, India. She taught them photography and from this, amazing things came out of it. I don't want to tell you everything about it because I want you to see it for yourself.
You can rent this movie at any video store or get it at the library. As a warning, there's coarse language so you may want to wait until the kids are in bed to watch this. If you like, drop us a comment to let us know what you thought of it. It's heartbreaking and inspiring.
