


My (Edith) mom came to visit us from Edmonton and she brought along a kimono for Kayla to try on. I remember growing up as a kid, every year my parents would dress us (my sister, brother and I) up in kimonos and my dad, with a tripod in hand, took family portraits in our living room. I'll have to see if I have any of those pictures. . .
Well I don't know if we'll continue on with that tradition in our house, although I think it would be fun but these kimonos aren't exactly something I can find here in Canada and they're pretty expensive. Maybe I'll let obachan enjoy putting the kimonos on on all the grandkids by passing it around.
